Guests scan the code on the card with their phone camera and tap Join, no typing.

Network name (SSID)

Exactly as your phone lists it, including capitals and spaces.

Security

Keep “WPA/WPA2” unless your router is set to WPA3 only: phones join WPA2 and WPA2/WPA3 networks with it. A WPA3-only network needs “WPA3 only (SAE)”, which some older phones can’t read.

Password

Hidden network (the router doesn’t broadcast its name)

Include a “copy the password” QR

The password is not printed on the card. A second, smaller code opens a web page with a “Copy password” button, for laptops and phones that can’t scan the Wi-Fi code. Guests open it over mobile data; the password travels inside the code and is never sent to the site.

Title line (optional)

For example the room name or “Guest Wi-Fi”.
